What are your check-in and check-out times?
Normal Check In time starts at 14:00pm, but every effort will be made to accommodate earlier or later Check Ins (if arranged in advance). Room keys will be handed to guests upon arrival.
What should I do if I arrive late at night?
Checkout time is before 10:00am. Please tell us in advance if you require a later Checkout and we will do our utmost best to accommodate your request.
Do all rooms have private bathrooms?
Yes, all suites are fully private and include an en-suite bathroom, Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping.
Do you have air-conditioning or heating?
Our guest house is designed with your comfort in mind. Three of our suites feature elegant ceiling fans, while the remaining rooms include stylish stand-alone fans to maintain a cool and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to Johannesburg’s mild climate and our airy room layouts, the spaces remain naturally comfortable throughout the seasons.
Is breakfast included with my stay?
We currently do not offer breakfast, but we’ll gladly recommend nearby cafés and restaurants for your convenience.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayFast, PayPal (for international guests), and EFT transfers. A small deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Note: We do not accept cash & do not keep cash on site.
Can I pay on arrival?
Yes, but only for walk-ins. However, we recommend securing your stay with an online payment to guarantee your reservation — especially during busy periods.
How far are you from O.R. Tambo International Airport?
A: We’re approximately 25–30 minutes away by car, depending on traffic. Airport transfers can be arranged on request.
Is parking available?
Yes, we offer secure on-site parking for all guests, included at no extra cost.
Is it safe to walk around the neighborhood?
Our area is quiet and secure, but like any major city, we recommend standard precautions, especially at night. Our staff can recommend trusted local transport and nearby attractions.
What can I do nearby?
We’re conveniently close to Sandton City, Melrose Arch & Rosebank who offer several popular restaurants, cafés, and markets. Our team is also happy to suggest day tours or nightlife options.
Do you offer free Wi-Fi?
Absolutely. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Is laundry service available?
While same-day laundry and ironing services aren’t available but may be offered upon request at an extra charge.
How often is housekeeping done?
Rooms are cleaned daily unless otherwise requested for privacy. (Please note that a maximum of two days are given for privacy until we recommend we clean)
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently allow pets unless pre-arranged under special circumstances.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits and payments are not refundable if cancellation occurs within 30 days of the reserved arrival date. All reservations and cancellations to be in writing, i.e. email. A 50% cancellation fee will apply on the full booking should cancellation occur between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival. A 100% cancellation fee will apply on the full booking should cancellation occur less than 14 days prior to arrival. There will be no refunds for early departures, for breakdowns of appliances, etc., if said breakdown is due to weather and / or other conditions, which the house owner has no control over.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Do I need an adapter for my electronics?
South Africa uses Type M plugs (3 round pins). We recommend universal adapters but our rooms are equipped with both Type-C & Type-B ports.
Q: What currency do you accept?
A: All rates are in South African Rand (ZAR). We also accept international card payments through PayPal with automatic currency conversion.
Q: Can I pay in my home currency?
A: Yes, when using PayPal or certain international cards, you’ll be able to pay in your local currency with automatic conversion.
